As I rise more and more into my leadership, I have seen the amount of unwanted male attention on my social media accounts grow. What I realised after having to deal with a particularly unpleasant experience earlier this week, is how it seems to be normal for me to expect this to happen. Instead of being able to share my radiance freely and without having to worry about preditory energy coming my way, my initial thoughts around this have been: "This is just something I will have to deal with for now until they loose their interest."
Luckily, I have learned how to quickly deal with predatory energy and not let it effect me. Strong boundaries, high standards and advanced energy practises are key for this.
I believe that a vast majority of men who currently display this behaviour do not actually want to be like this. They are operating on a default emotional setting of hunting for women encouraged by a society that tells them they are less of men if they do otherwise.
I also believe that the more women learn how to navigate these energies with grace and gratitude (yes, gratitude), the less of this behaviour we will see in men.
Hi, I am Nicole!
And I believe life is beautiful.
If you were to look at the world today, it would be easy to tell yourself otherwise. Some people will even try to convince you the world is a horrible place to be.
I have learned though, that no matter how hard life gets, there is always something beautiful to lay our eyes upon.
That beauty is love.
And that love is what has the power to transform the world.
